Biomatt - Tube A110/43 grey Sml


Clearpond Biotube is the latest generation of filter media; manufactured from thermo-polypropylene compounds,
its curly fibres are made into layers and shapes of different thicknesses.

The fibres have excellent surface area with good adhesion of nitrifying bacteria and the high number of
interstitial spaces in the tri-dimensional matrix results in an early and even growth of bacteria.

Biotube filter media retains a high, free volume for smooth, even water flow throughout.

Biotube is lightweight, versatile, durable and suitable for use in submerged bed filters, sedimentation chambers,
trickle filters, oil/water separation and de-ironing of underground water.
They can also be used as spawning mats and aquatic plant growing media.

Biotube can be easily cut using a bread knife, hacksaw or hole saw.
