Both create a healthy environment for fish and aquatic plants by using ultraviolet radiation to clear pond water and prevent further formation of algae, germs and mould. Choose from the 7 watt 3500 for ponds up to 3,500 litres, or the 11 watt 12000 for ponds up to 12,000 litres.

Clearpond Biomatt filters, like the internal tray and Biotube filters, are an economic way of filtering small ponds and great way to reduce maintenance on pumps. They are made using a rigid material that wont clog up like foam filters and are attached to the suction side of the pump.

These prefilters are there to prevent particles being drawn in and damaging the pump but because they’re so small they need regular cleaning. Clearpond foam filters are an economical way of reducing the maintenance of your pump. Designed to replace the existing prefilter on the suction side of your pump, our quality foam prefilters are manufactured using 10dpi foam that is built to last. This means that our foams will last longer and won’t clog as often as prefilters made with finer foam.
